Energyrods in this unique construction offer support for push off in the forefoot, operate as a torsion element in the midfoot and support the heel. Adidas used a dual-density Lightstrike midsole and rubber compound sole and paired it with the adidas' recycled Adituff sport-specific abrasion zone meant to add extra durability to the outsole.
